Who this covers

This notice covers parents and guardians who create TrainerAid accounts and the learners they add. Learners use TrainerAid only after a parent or guardian has created the account and given consent.

What we collect

Guardian account: email address, sign-in details handled by our authentication provider, country, and consent records.

Learner profile: a first name or nickname, grade, exam year, exam series and zone, chosen subjects, timezone and study preferences.

Learning records: answers to practice and diagnostic questions, scores, mastery estimates, study-plan activity and weekly report snapshots.

Study Coach messages: stored in redacted form (contact details removed) for a limited retention period so the learner can continue a session and so we can investigate safety reports.

Usage analytics: pseudonymous events (for example, that a lesson was started). Analytics never contain names, emails, answers or message text.

Why we use it

To run the service you asked for: personalised practice, study plans, progress reports for guardians, safety monitoring and support. We do not sell personal data and we do not use learner data for advertising.

AI providers

Study Coach requests are sent to an AI model provider to generate replies. We send the minimum context needed (the learner's question and the relevant syllabus objective) and no contact details. See How we use AI for more.

How long we keep it

Study Coach messages are deleted automatically after their retention period. Learning records are kept while the account is active. When a guardian asks us to delete a learner's data we delete or anonymise it, except where we must keep a record by law (for example, consent records).

Your choices

Guardians can download or delete a learner's data from the Privacy page in their account, withdraw consent, and change AI and study controls at any time.
